Dr. Brenda Bunn
I am passionate about being a dentist and always learning, whether it is from my patients’ life experiences, information I have learned in continuing education courses, or discussions and interactions with my colleagues and specialists.
The relationships I develop with my patients are extremely rewarding. My patients truly are an extension of my family. I love seeing them leave the office happy, whether it is because of a treatment we have provided or because we have acknowledged their hard work at their personal oral healthcare routines. Our patients’ smiles, thank you's and continual referrals of family and friends are always appreciated.
Education and Commitment to Continuing Education
I attended dental school at the University of Western Ontario, which has recently changed its name to Western University. I graduated from the University of Western Ontario with my Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1984. Between 1984 and 1985, I completed a dental surgery internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital and at University Hospital in London, Ontario.
Throughout my career, I have made it a priority to take continuing education courses in order to update my skills, techniques and abilities. This is essential, as I want to continue to provide my patients with the most current and best possible dental care options available.
I am a member in good standing with the:
- Canadian Dental Association
- Ontario Dental Association
- London & District Dental Society
I am also fully licensed by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
I have two beautiful children, a daughter and a son, both of whom are currently attending university. When I am not working, I enjoy golfing, sailing, canoeing, hiking and skiing. I also love travelling, reading, cooking and appreciating nature's beauty.
I am a strong believer in serving our community. I am a volunteer dentist for DOCS Community Dental Care, serving the underprivileged, and have previously volunteered as a dentist for the children of Chernobyl.
